After a model’s image has been loaded, the Adjust Image window appears. Three types of objects can be selected: a face, a hand with nails for a virtual manicure, or any body part for virtual tattooing.

If a face has been selected (this is the default variant), two vertical lines and one horizontal line will be superimposed over the face in this window. To scale the portrait so that the intersections of the lines are located exactly at the centre of the eyes, click with the left mouse button on the left eye and with the right mouse button on the right eye. You can also move the lines if necessary by clicking on them and dragging them with the mouse.
If the distance between the vertical lines is smaller than a certain threshold value (i.e. the image is too small to be worked with properly), a transparent rectangle will appear for image selection. Place the cursor inside the rectangle, click with the left mouse button and, holding it down, move the cursor up and down to select the optimum area for the image to work with.
When the scaling lines and image selection rectangle have been set, click on OK FormAdjustOK.jpg (6188 bytes).

If a hand with nails has been selected as image, an image selection rectangle will appear. To change the size of the rectangle, and thus define the area to be worked with, click on the rectangle and, holding down both the left mouse button and Ctrl, move the cursor to the left or right until the optimum size is achieved. To move the rectangle to a different position, click on it, hold down the left mouse button, and move the rectangle to the desired position.
The next step is to define the exact location of the nails. Each nail area is numbered from 1 to 5. The area with the number "1" denotes the thumb, the area numbered "2" is for the forefinger, and so on. To move one of the nail-defining areas, place the cursor inside it, hold down the left mouse button, and move the area until it corresponds with the appropriate fingernail. To rotate or turn a nail-defining area, place the cursor inside it, hold down both the left mouse button and the Shift key, and move the cursor to the left or right; the nail-defining area will rotate counter-clockwise or clockwise. To change the size of a nail-defining area, place the cursor inside it, hold down both the left mouse button and the Ctrl key, and move the cursor up or down; the area will become larger or smaller. If you right-click on the area and hold down the right mouse button, and then move the cursor to the left or right, the nail-defining area will contract or expand.
When the image selection rectangle and the nail-defining areas have been set, click on OK FormAdjustOK.jpg (6188 bytes).

If a body part has been selected as an image, an image selection rectangle will appear superimposed over the image. To change the size of this rectangle, place the cursor inside it, hold down both the left mouse button and Ctrl, and move the cursor to the left or right. To move the rectangle so that it defines the area you'd like to work with, click on it and, holding down the left mouse button, move the rectangle to the desired position.
When the image selection rectangle has been set, click on OK FormAdjustOK.jpg (6188 bytes).
